2018 Cascade Crest 100 race report

My most successful race to date. I placed 12th overall, finishing 100 miles with 22,000 feet of climbing in just over 23 hours. The course is really beautiful and the awesome support and low-key vibe was exactly what I like about trail running in the PNW. You can read about my race in the link to the PDF below.

Volcanic 1080

This was a nearly well-executed bad idea. You can read my trip report as a PDF in the link below. The short story is that I biked to Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood in a self-supported fashion and circumnavigated each one by foot in a single push, completed in one week. As an added bonus, it ended spectacularly in a multi-mode failure during the final ride home.
